Core infrastructure is committed to the protection of its employees from accidental injury and its property from accidental damage

Management has committed to:

  • Provide health and welfare and provide a safe workplace, safe environment and proper materials and strive for continual improvement.
  • Establish and insist upon safe methods and safe practices at all times.
  • Provide appropriate supervision and training and monitor conformance to quality standards.
  • Ensure employees and other persons understand and accept their responsibility to promote a safe and healthy place of work.
  • Develop appropriate emergency procedures to render immediate response and first aid.
  • Have a process of hazard identification, evaluation, elimination, isolation and minimisation.
  • Comply with legislative requirements and provide adequate resources to improve our systems and relevant codes of practices.
  • Ensure that any contractors working on our sites have and operate appropriate safety procedures.
  • Our site safety officer is responsible for all safety systems.
  • All employees will report all accidents and near misses to the Site Supervisor and a rehabilitation plan will be applied.

The responsibility for safety will be adopted as an integral part of everyday work, therefore it is vital that every employee shares in the commitment to eliminate unsafe acts and conditions by thinking safety and acting safely at all times.
